Determination of Schisandra Chinensis Extract Effective Constituent Content and the Effect on Inosinic Acid 

Content. This paper determinated the content of Schisandra Chinensis Extract effective constituent with high 

performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and investigated the effect of Schisandra Chinensis Extract on inosinic 

acid content in pectoral and leg muscle of broilers.200 one-day-old avian male and female broilers were randomly 

assigned to five treatments of four replications with 10 chicks per pen.The control was provided with basal diet.


Treatments were basal diet added with 5 mg/kg Flavomycin(FLA),0.1% ESC,0.2% ESC and 0.4 % ESC,respectively.On 56 

day,two broilers per treatment were killed,determinated inosinic acid content of pectoral and leg muscle.The result 

showed that the inosinic acid content in every tiral group was higher than the control and FLA group,and the 0.4%

Schisandra Chinensis Extract group was the best.
